Great idea...There are so many fun things to do with things you've collected or inherited.

One of the things I did several years ago is take the 30 years of letters F's Mom and Dad had sent to us over the years...and copied them...one extra set for me to use as a Master set, and a set for each of our kids...

Inbetween all the letters (in crono order), I made collages of pics of the kids and all of us for the appropriate years of the letters....

Copied 12 sheets of those collages for each family, and had them all bound into a 2 book set....

The cover was particularly fun....The Folks had sent us a Greeting card one year that was a cute little cartoon like house, with flowers and a picket fence....She had written our last name across the top of the archway into the house and the date she sent the card. I had 5 heavy cardboard copies made of that card, and had the front and back covers laminated, so maybe they won't self distruct as easily as they might...

Gave it to the family one Christmas as my first of the Gifts from My Heart projects...

Yep, it was a lot of work, but it was so much fun. Besides, it would have taken me ever so much more time to do something like crochet or knit something...<GGGG>
