Looks like a smile to me:

Really? Did you believe in "the face on Mars" a few years back? :>)

Seriously, I think they are just open mouth shots. But, "whatever floats your boat."

I just hope this is behind us next week. At least on the thread.

Looks like a smile to me

When I was a kid, my next door neighbor developed some sort of ailment. I never heard what the diagnosis was. The symptom I saw periodically was that she would withdraw from her environment, raise her head towards the sun and stare off blankly with her mouth agape while she moved her open hand back and forth across her face, fingers spread and palm facing her face. She would just stand there doing that off somewhere in her own little world. I never saw an episode end because the episodes lasted a long time and I always left rather than wait for it to be over. I was a kid, after all, and Eleanor had stopped playing with me.

Your smiley pictures of Terri have the same expression as my neighbor, who was definitely "not there" when she had had that look.
