Rightwing wants to control our lives and death too.
Rick Santorum quoted today saying "we should not be able to decide when we die, only God can".

Did "God" have life support systems in the first century that can keep a braindead person alive for decades?

does this mean santorum will want to be kepot alive artificially for 100 years? Who pays for that? We do. I vote unplug him. In fact unplug his entire political career now.

I also liked Dole, btw. And I like Elizabeth Dole.

I was disappointed in McCain, somebody who I thought followed his own course. I have read McCain can't stand Bush.

I'm pretty mad - I doubt I will ever support any Republican who supported Bush in '04. Even Chuck Hagel will have to work hard to get my vote. I'm glad Danforth spoke out this week, but I wish he had spoken out last October.

The only political calculus that I make when casting my vote, is how should I cast my vote to help ensure that a republican does not get in office. If that means voting for a D, L, G, S or even a C...they'll get my vote if it looks like they are the strongest in the polls against the R. If it looked like Mickey Mouse could beat the republican candidate...you vote Mickey Mouse...all the way.

When you look at what has happened to our government, with majorities of R's in both houses, no checks and balances in the government, which means that Bush can do anything he wants with impunity. That Tom Delay can get away with enormous crimes...and they even lower the bar for him.

When you vote...vote anti-R
