I don't know why you say that?

The interesting thing about Herschel and his cohorts is that they were a protected species bent on totally destroying another protected species. What to do about it occupied the local authorities for months. They had to virtually protect the sea lions from angry fishermen that thought the best solution was a bullet between the eyes. I eventually grew tired of the whole affair, but after several attempts, I think they finally managed to relocate him somewhere south?

I don't recall ever hearing about a sea lion problem on the east coast.

A Left Coast phenomenon, I see.

For reasons which escape me, y'all seem to have a harder time sorting these things out than we do on the Right Coast.

I see you found out who Herschel is/was.... The thing that was tough, and yet funny, at the same time, is that Herschel kept making fools of the folks who were trying to capture him, as well as the folks who were trying to save him.

I think that after several truck trips in cages to other areas, that eventually they flew some of these critters out of here. Who knows where and when they will come back.

The ones down in SFO REALLY were making a mess of the docks by the city....they just moved in and said "I'm NOT moving"...last time we were there, they were still there by Fisherman's Wharf...

Anyone know if they are still there?
