Now all of a sudden you think the Commerce Clause is a stretch. The Commerce Clause is a stretch for about 60% of the Federal Bureaucracy.

The Commerce Clause is widely interpreted and abused by political parties for their own gain. Look at what the Godfather of the democrats tried to do...

The clause was the subject of conflict between the U.S. Supreme Court and the Administration of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1935-37 when the Court struck down several of the President's "New Deal" measures on the grounds that they encroached upon intrastate matters.
