The move up off the Tuesday lows looks more like a whack wave 4, and today's move looks like some kind of fresh impulse down.

If so, I like Dow 10,250, SPX 1155-1159, NDX 1438 or so, and COMP 1940 for lows. The Dow made a new low, so maybe HFTOM kicks in here and we go down and make lower lows.

This will actually be nice if it could get done by Wednesday, as we could run up into op-ex. They will have killed the calls, then they'll kill the puts.

It also works better in light of the huge call and put open interest at QQQQ 36 strike in April.

Re WMT: Long term the darn thing is perfectly eligible to be in a Wave E of a large triangle since late '99 -- a drop under 43.70 (7/02 low) would kill this theory.

edit - Wave E...
