Your daughter was lucky--I'm glad she had no roots and is already feeling much better. I had my wisdom teeth out kind of late--in my twenties--and I'm sure I suffered more because of that.

We were astonished when an orthodontist said that our daughter did not need braces. Then my daughter argued that she had saved us a lot of money by growing her teeth right and that we should give her what it would have cost to straighten them!

However, about six credit hours at Oberlin ate up any orthodontic savings.
