Thanks for the contest update. FYI I unloaded most of my remaining SYNM on the recent spike to 14. Will keep an eye on it for possible re-entry during some future energy sell-off.

excar, FPPC, WHIT -- I own small amounts of both, and keeping an eye on them. Fieldpoint seems to have the most upside, but I'm starting to get a bit queazy about not having heard news of a test of their big exploratory well by now. Hopefully no news is not bad news.

Whittier is methodically creating a solid E&P company via the "acquire & exploit" strategy, one which I believe can be very successful in the current environment. They have been hampered by some hedges that were way below market but I believe some of these are rolling off soon.
