That isn't what I meant. I'm sorry if I implied that. What I meant was that we face many dangers, and we can't afford to shut down shipping, and tank our economy, unless the danger is really imminent- and of course there is a lot of question as to just how imminent this threat is. The sad thing is that by the time we know it is imminent it may be too late- but there is not easy way to solve it- and I don't think a democrat would find it any easier than a republican.
