France, Europe, US foreign policy, cultural differences between all of the above, things that divide them, things that could bring them together better, reviewing what everyone has done in the past (but that has been beaten pretty much to death, frankly), etc.

Consider it a forum to discuss US-European relations constructively. Facts and news items are welcome but repetitive bashing and name-calling is off-topic once the point has been made. Like I said, I would have banned Ionesco for the 1998 post had it been made today.

Endless personal squabbles are also off-topic. Too boring.
