What problems did Ukraine have? They nullified the first election and went ahead and had a second one very soon after and within 3 weeks had the new Govt. sworn in.

What problems did India have. They formed the Constituent Assembly first and then 42 months later adopted the constitution and became a full democracy.

Pakistan on the other hand had military dictatorship all through. That is the start of the belt, stretching westward where democracy is unknown. And it has got to do with the Islamic religion where there is no seoaration of church and religion. I am not going to debate whether that is good or not for those folks for doing so would be judging them by our standards.

So I have named you two countries when you just asked for one. And in both these countries the people of these countries wanted democracy, turned out in large numbers for public meetings in the center of their capitals. In Iraq, Bush is trying to force it on them. You think they are interested? The Shiites wanting the US? Do you seriously believe that? I do not understand why you refuse to think for yourself and instead consider it OK to be a victim of the American right propaganda machine.
