Ray, I didn't literally mean that PNAC built Arpanet, or the internet, or WWW, which were AlGorhythm's creation. Arpanet stemmed from the military industrial complex referred to by President Eisenhower and the millennia long processes of mercantilism and empire. It evolved irrespective of whether the Democrats or Republicans were in charge of the various arms of government. I used PNAC as shorthand to refer to the idea of an over-weening USA-centric military-industrial complex. While PNAC carries it further than others have, it's not a huge difference. I claim literary license to not be literal. Mqurice PS: I have no idea who Eric Blair is. I suppose I could ask my buddy Google. [Note that Google isn't really my buddy - I think Google is indifferent to me, just as I don't get too wound up about an aging skin cell on my little toe] Oh, George Orwell. Well, I do subscribe to the idea that God was created in the image of Man, and a certain amount of idolatory is endemic in humans; note the drama over the passing of Pope John Paul, not to mention Princess Diana and Ronald Raygun. Note the masses of people bowing to Mecca and making mob mobilisations to the Big Rock. Watch rank and file of Americans hold hand on heart. See a billion Chinese clones mindlessly chant Yiwu the Mad's mantra. We Love Big Brother.
