I've gotten into it a few times and always seem to hit a dead end. Fires destroying records. But I know there is a ton of stuff out there about them. Two sides fought in the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. I just have to persevere when I get stuck in a dead end.

And you're right, genealogy sometimes seems to be an obsession. All your detective instinct comes out, and you are "on the case"....

Who else but a genealogist can think it's a reallllllllllly fun day when we get to go to the library for the day??????? hehehehehe
