KB,

I was seeing far more bearish candidates than bullish ones via my scans as well. Even some of the bullish looking ones looked vulnerable for a pull back.

An interesting chart is BEC, one of the stocks you mentioned. Even though it is down today, it was not a stock I would have shorted at this point. Is was down 13 of the last 14 days and looks like it is due for a technical bounce in a day or two. This would make a good short on any attempt to rally I think, unless some market moving news comes out between now and then.

Perhaps your options strategy provides a better reward to risk set up than buying or selling the underlying equity?

FNM is mentioned in your list and is of particular importance to me since I am short FNM. FNM hit my profit target today at $51.00 and I have closed that position. I think I will short it again if it attempts to rally from here. I just haven't decided on the plan of action yet and will look into it this evening when I have more time to think about it.
