Mr. Dobbs, no human being is illegal

Dobbs's "booker" got this guy to make his side look like fools. It was a setup for Dobbs to look good. The other "talking heads" do the same thing.

I really don't like being on Dobbs's side on this issue. He has gone off the deep end on "free trade." From what little I hear from him, his show has degenerated into a rant against free trade.

Anybody who gets paid cash under the table doesn't pay taxes. I'd be interested to see whether illegal aliens are more likely to be paid cash or just use fake IDs. My impression is that they tend to use fake IDs, so they pay taxes but can never file for a refund, or collect Social Security, but I just don't know.

I've seen many, many people born in this country who only work for cash, mostly to avoid paying taxes and/or child support, and many who do a lot of odd jobs for cash just because they can. If I had to bet, I'd bet there's a lot more of them than illegal aliens working for cash, but again, I just don't know.

They probably don't answer surveys.

But based on comments I have heard from local governments, there doesn't appear to be the antipathy here that there is in California and other states that border Mexico. I mean from the school boards and health departments and all that.
