I did not like most of the Pope's policies,

Do you think the Pope had policies or do you think he merely was standing pat on the Church doctrine as promulgated over many centuries and originated by JC himself and His disciples? The Pope was for LOVE, the pope was against HATE, MURDER (especially of unborn children) and incentuous relationships. Far as I know, those same things can be found in the Bible. jdn

I think Hewitt is definitely right. The MSM has been wrong about so many things recently. It would really help if they came out to Americans in the entire country, and talked with (not to) them...In other words, MSM should LISTEN, and listen with every sense.

One reason the Pope was so well liked around the world, is that he was genuine. People can always tell when someone is genuine, and not trying to impress them. He seemed to be genuinely humble, had good humor, was willing to listen, read and wrote a good deal, and had good reasons for his decisions. Even if people didn't like some of them. It was easy for me. I don't belong to that faith. But I always felt that I would be more than comfortable around him, and wish I'd had a chance to meet him.
