Something mysterious is going on at Eugene Island 330.

That article has been around for awhile ..
I've tried to dig a little deeper ie find sources
for actual production figures for specific wells/fields
and it's hard to get any 'real' data .. My suspicions
are that this oil field recharge phenomena will prove
to be 'urban legend' material .. would that it were true <g>

This must have been an April Fool's article in the Wall Street Journal. It's so full of lies and crackpots you should be ashamed of yourself for posting it. The oil reserves in the Persian Gulf have not really doubled that is pure fiction and no data support the bogus claim. The arabs doubled them to alter their OPEC quotas. You should read something sound such as:
