"crazed anti-God French leftwingers" Where exactly do you get your news from, the evengelist network? You might have trouble believing this, but most states in Europe, including France, are SECULAR. That means the state does not have a religion and it is equidistant from all religions. It cannot prefer one religion over another. That means, if you need it spelled out, that the French state cannot declare national mourning over the passing of the Pope of the Catholic church and fly the flag at half mast. Any questions?
