And there were the consumer products, toy microscopes, etc. It's a checkered past (at best) outside of PC/Server microprocessors.

I'm not saying it can't be done... I'm just saying I will hold the stock based on PC/server microprocessors but I won't buy more based on new businesses.

Excellent post Saturn.

But like the Ethernet effort there should be a big payoff due to increased sales of computers particularly in the developing world.


This is why one holds INTC stock.
