I hate to agree with you here, but I must. I must tell the truth whenever possible (and I will if it won't cost me anything to do so <g>).

I could bore you to tears with stories about why the big Three won't embrace certain money saving AND quality improvement technologies. I won't. Just suffice it to say that my company sells a TON of a certain product to Daimler, VW, and a host of European car companies, but these products are not "good enough" for Ford or GM.

Much of the inertia at the US automakers is warranty claim avoidance.

Ford for example HATES Toyota, but they also love them and benchmark everything they do (they just give it a different "name" to make it sound original).

I need a new career.
