For years the Republicans castigated the "tax and spend" Democrats. Now, they have control of the government, and we find the Republicans only had problems with the "tax" half of the epithet! Any fool knows that borrowed money has to be paid back. Give me a fiscally prudent "tax and spend" Dem over these idiotic "borrow and spend" Republicans any day of the week. Bush is clueless! No reputable economist thinks the deficits we're carrying are sustainable. People all over the world are getting out of dollars, including Warren Buffet. Everyone but the Bushies seem to know know we're just one triggering event away from fiscal disaster. In a few short years, Bush may cost us the advantage of being the world's reserve currency.
