You've touched on a significant point. Its between the husband the wife.......and each husband and wife may come up with a different conclusion. That's why it can't be between the husband and the wife and the parents and/or the husband and the wife and the parents and the world. Its why many people are offended by Congress's actions and the actions of the people outside the hospice. ted

Thanks for letting your arrogance show through. Why is that arrogant? We care for each other enough to say don't spend your life tending to me in a state of hopelessness. I would not advocate taking that away from you anymore than I would want it taken away from me. How do you or all the other folks who have taken an "interest" in the Schiavo case know what personal choices they made for themselves? And what is the likelyhood that they would have discussed it with her parents before she bacame ill? I have listened to Sean Hannity for a week actually accusing this man on the air of abusing his wife, with no evidence. It should be illegal. As for the Iraq war, go ahead and pretend that I love the killing if it makes you feel better. When you're ready to discuss the issues with an open mind, let me know. Otherwise, expect more one-liners from "pigs" like myself. I did not call anyone a pig, least of all you. We may disagree, but at least you respond with thought. Harris posts vile insults to all of us, the most offensive of which suggest that we rejoice at the loss of American life.
