The way I see it the right cheated to get Bush back in, then they tried to sell the idea that he had a mandate. What rubbish. whackmode00's dementia appears to be contagious....

Bush's Kill-SS road trip is just a distraction. They're getting the rest of their anti-American agenda even as Bush acts the part of imbecile with no portfolio. Heck, they couldn't even fill the auditorium in Albuquerque when Bush came to speak. Even Republicans in the hinterlands know a lame duck a l'orange when they smell it. IMO, Rove kicked Bush on to the road with the Kill-SS tent meetings in order to keep him off of vacation (he's back on vacation this weekend) and out of Washington. Rove understands that Bush has likely reached the limit of his useability and now he's looking for someone less shrill and hysterical. Meanwhile, where the real business of anti-American politics is done, the Republicans have: - gone after the poor on behalf of the usurious - gone after the poor on behalf of the pill pushers - gone after the poor on behalf of the negligent - gone after the poor on behalf of the ultra rich tax dodgers Bush, after all, readily admits that the poor are poor because they are 'stupid and lazy' which, if he was logical at all, would mean that HE should be poor. Therefore, he has decided that he should go after the poor and ignore all of the teachings of the bible that he regularly flogs for his personal benefit. God is unhappy which is probably why we are nearing the end of our natural resources. Anyone remember when the US of A was the world's largest producer of oil?
