OK, I lied. I'm not done. After putting my last volume on the shelf I received the following in the mail from my mother:

Dearest Manymoose (she used my real name),

Your sister (she used my sister's real name) ran across this little poem and sent me a copy, and to her girls too. It says exactly how I feel about my sons and daughters and so I'm sending it to all of you.

Before you were born I loved you
And before you were conceived I wanted you
Before you were here an hour, I would die for you.
This is the miracle of life.

By Maureen Hawkins

With a world of love,
your very own,
Mother (Age 86)

Sorry for the dead link. Here's the correct one, in case any of you are actually out there.

Hey, i'm not dead yet! or, at least, i don't think so. i'm pretty sure not. i'm just in Texas. is that close to dead? i'll see if i can come up with something this evening after life settles down. so far i've not had the energy to spend time awake once it does, but am finding a few moments this morning to catch up a bit here. and i've been enjoying it except for the rumors of my death. :)
