re:The church doesn't allow condoms either. And its pretty standard in some African nations for the husband to have sex outside of the marriage. The church certainly isn't responsible for the AIDS crisis in Africa but it has played a contributing role by prohibiting condoms and the pill. Unfortunately, many innocent women and children are dying horrible deaths from AIDS because there is no medicine to treat them.

The real issue is the African culture like so many Asian ones find it unpopular to use condoms in the first place and have sex outside marriage. All of the teachings of the Church on sex if followed would have prevented these issues. The churches position on condom use has nothing to do with husbands having sex outside marriage - since they obviously won't use them with professional women - the one place anyone with even half a brain would.
