And isn't that the truth....the dog was much easier, once she taught me to wrap the pill in one piece of ham, and letting him see two pieces at the same time, give him the one with the med, and still holding the other piece in the other. Then give that to him. Worked slick! CZ ate the pill, and never even wimpered, while he was chewing the 2nd piece of ham.

Well, chewing might be a stretch. Swallowed whole is probably more apt a description!

Reminds me of another story when you mentioned the beer, and giving the cat meds.

When the first baby was teething, my Doc said to get a shot of whiskey. Rub a finger of whiskey onto the baby's gums. Then drink the rest of the shot. Repeat if necessary. Call babysitter if it was necessary. <gg>
