Concealed carry probably shouldn't affect any crime rates but street holdups and other street crime.

Indeed, which makes me wonder why it's treated as a panacea. I specifically asked Bill about shopkeepers and carry laws looking for him to connect the dots. He didn't, I think, because there aren't any.

When our now governor, Blagovitch, was a state rep for South Chicago he blocked a right to carry law. I went to Springfield to listen to the committee meeting. To paraphrase his argument, many of his constituents were robbers and the victims carrying guns would be unfair to the robbers. I'm glad I live downstate.
