JF, I think I already made my point. I don't think the president of Harvard is a conservative, but he did try to think outside the liberal box with his statement. Unfortunately, he went against the politically correct thought police, and he had to retract and apologize.

And is "gender differences being the cause of heavy male representation in the sciences" a core conservative belief?

Does it have to be in order to prove my point? All that I needed to prove is the intolerance within academia. It doesn't even have to be a "core conservative belief."

Maybe academia is liberal because liberals are smarter and less greedy?
