re: The problem......there is so many of them running helter skelter, like bulls running amok, its hard to keep up a solid defense.

No kidding. And they don't care if they make sense, they just keep saying this crap...

Yes, that's the other side of the problem. They say whatever they want because they are not all that concerned with the consequences. To defeat them, the opposition must remain completely fact based. That's hard when "you've got bull running amok" doing and saying anything and everything that comes to mind.

Frankly, I think the old "silent majority" in this country is getting fed up with their antics. But we won't know until '06 for sure.

Hopefully, my cousin is part of that "silent majority". When I brought up the Schiavo case, he was fairly embarrassed and defensive......after all, this was a little to close to home both geographically and professionally. He said he was growing more uncomfortable with the behavior of the evangelicals.

And just for the record, CNN had Franklin Graham on their show to talk about the passing of the Pope. When he wasn't talking about the Pope, he was talking about the Schiavo case and how something had to be done with regards to the judges in this country. The evangelicals want to turn Schiavo into a cause celebre and overturn the judicial system.
