One can race cars and not know much about the thermodynamics of heat engines. It's a very silly argument that someone has to have a heart attack to know anything about them. The same can be said about having opinions about animal husbandry or racing.

A friend of mine got her 3 year old horse out of the horse meat auction. The animal had sprained its ankle and the owner wanted to be done with it. The bid was $0.50 a pound for little "Brownstone". She turned him into an Olympic quality jumper after some rehab, but mostly it was a pet. Bad investment for the owner so its off to the slaughterhouse? That doesn't seem very ethical. Is greyhound racing much different?

You seem to be the person pontificating about the wonderful greyhound dog racing tracks and the humane treatment of the dogs there. I am simply responding with factual information, and you don't seem to like it because it distorts your inaccurate world view re greyhounds.

What state did you work at a greyhound track in, anyway? And for how long?
