I believe it. Uganda was able to get a handle on the disease. Other countries have not been so capable, meaning that a percentage like 56% is not unlikely.

From what I understand, so many kids have been left homeless, there is a fear that two generations of Africans have been lost. The Dark Continent is getting darker.
