Very interesting piece, thanks. I don't see these two as being mutually exclusive. There's no law that says we can't develop multiple alternative energy sources and incorporate them wherever they make most sense. Interesting point about the price of natural gas and the economic incentive of developing hydrogen as a viable fuel source. My feeling is that if natural gas needs to rise to $9 before it becomes economically feasible to develop hydrogen, then God help us, because $9 natural gas prices will squash this economy like a bug, and all the rest of the developed global economies right along with it. T
