I started to read sometime ago "The other end of the leash"....can't remember the gals name, but she's good and fun too.... Someplace along the line, some of the things she said, made sense to me....Must have made sense to CZ too, because he is minding better. When he wants to play like that, I used to chase him to get the ball or whatever it is. Now I bend down, talk with him, and he knows 2 things....good boy, and thank you....If I say "good boy" it means he gurrrs and plays, but still keeps it...If I say "thank you" he's taken it to mean, "it's ok to drop it on her foot right now, and she will throw it for me".... Not quite the words I wanted him to remember in the order I wanted....but our system that he invented seems to work for both of us. I made him a plate of cooked green string beans with some bacon tonight, and some for me as well...F~ wasn't home, so we could be happy with those...... He just COULDN'T wait to scarff them down....and then eyed mine as well. He got some more... LOLOL! Of course, he's not spoiled, or anything...<ggg>
