South Korea's foreign ministry summoned Japan's ambassador to Seoul on Wednesday to protest Tokyo's approval of history textbooks accused of glossing over wartime atrocities.

Prosperous and large nation with a petite mind- Japan distortion of war crimes history- accepting responsibility to avoid future disastrous engagements is step one for any nation long term coexistence with neighbours with a chequered past in Asia Japan should address the fears of neighbours the children of Japan should know about atrocities their forefather committed so as to avoid future atrocities and accept moral responsibility, no one needs to carry the cross but stitching conduct freshly needs re-writing history in a proper context.
