Bush to forgive Carter

The Executive branch was allocated five seats at the funeral. Three Prez's and Mrs Bush, plus Sec State Rice. No room left in the inn.

Carter volunteered to lead the contingent. Mr. Bush declined his offer in favor of doing it himself. Where's the pettiness?

I understand there was only five seats for official seating. Bush may be peevish to himself, and I certainly wouldn't blame him for it. But, he certainly has been more than forthcoming to Carter and the others who have been so openly and loudly verbally violent towards him and the current Administration.

In fact, I'm not even sure Carter himself would have been so forthcoming as GWB has been.
