>>is a computer with a massive HD and a CD/DVD as well as an amp & speakers<<

AG .. I hooked my computer up to my Crown System, like 10 years ago. All you need is a patch cord. But you have to be careful not to crank it up too loud on the Digital MP3s. I shook the mid range area loose on one of my 6 foot tall flat panel magnapan speakers. :( Now it has a slight rattle. I'm going to have to take it apart and see if I can inject the membrane with some glue. I'm almost afraid to attempt this job.

They are totally different than traditional voice coils. They are only about 1 3/4" thick front to back. They look like a dressing screen panel or room divider. I hope I don't have to take it in for repairs. Of course it could be a good excuse to upgrade to the Timpanies if they still make them. Those are Awesome. They are 6 feet tall and have 3 panels each side. A total of 6 panels. You'd just have to hear them to believe it.
Mine are about 25 years old and look something like this.
