...look at the outrage of Berger's non-punishment.. Actually, the Wall Street Journal piece that you posted concludes with the comment, "...this looks to be a case where prosecutors have shown some commendable restraint against a high-powered political figure." Recognizing that this may put me at odds with many of the other thread contributors, I personally do not have a problem with the resolution of this matter. Berger's ultimate punishment will come from the future historians who will assess his performance as National Security Advisor.
