Amy,

to be honest I don't believe that kosher k or u guarantees much except for a solid source of income to the organizations running that scheme...

Having said that I agree that drinking milk with meat is not a good thing having found out myself as a kid already. But I don't eat much meat anyway. Fish is my big thing. Fish, other seafood and red wine or water all make me feel good and thus I never get heart burn problems.

Nope. Not at all.

Not this one. It was founded on the commandment not to boil a baby goat in its mother's milk. Apparently, doing so was a pagan initiation ritual in those days in the Middle East.
