The former top security guy in the White House taking a few xerox copies rather than taking the time to transcribe them is trivial as hell. I have done that at libraries. I'm sure most people have.

Whether or not they were copies is irrelevant to his crime. He destroyed some of the documents by cutting them up with scissors.

As for mutilating books, count me out. I was raised by parents who respected books. As I have noted on previous occasions, you appear to have been raised in the forest by wolves.

Quit bringing up trivial cases to try and distract attention...

What? Our discussion was about Berger. You brought up the Plame investigation. I gave you a status report, which you have chosen to ignore. By the way, are you going to squeal like a stuck pig if Fitzgerald determines that no crime has been committed because the person that leaked her name was not aware that it was federal offense?
