Quite right again Jay. BBR is NOT a thread representative of global investor opinion about QCOM. But it did take care of "everyone".

The number of people who know about QCOM would be a tiny fraction of those who know about Starbucks, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Toyota, Apple, and so on.

QUALCOMM has never become a prime time "everyone" stock. Nevertheless, there were sufficient investors around in Y2K to drive the share price too high for the time.

Gold and oil are much more prime time, everyone, no-brainer investments, with the usual outcome of no-brain investing.
