Dennis, "I think we are going to see that consumer demand this summer will prove to be more elastic and sensitive to price than the cassandras would have yopu believe." As long as bottled water continues to cost more then a gallon of gas, people aren't going to cut back on their driving. We'll may see demand slowing above $3.00 - $3.50 but not at current prices. A friend mentioned he now fills up his tank when it's just below half a tank instead of on empty. Why? he wants a full tank and the cost is the same. Amazing how people can rationalize anything.
