The gun control contingent argues that deaths by firearm could be reduced if guns were regulated. It seems insane to consider either homicides or suicides or accidental gun deaths in isolation. Are you less dead if you blew your own head off than if someone blew it off for you? What about your young son who accidentally shoots his sister to death? Are these deaths somehow not real?

So your comment that "suicide is a straw man argument advanced by the gun control freaks" makes no sense to me. Also, could we possibly discuss things here without describing the side that does not agree with your opinion as "freaks?"
