And JFK made RFK attorney general and soon after that the then 12 year old Teddy won the Senate seat before killing Mary Jo Kophechne. Cheneys and Kennedys are both highly competent people but i agree with you on this one because it gives one a queasy feeling and just feels improper. By the way both the Kennedys and the Cheneys are not dependent on incomes derived from public service. Both families are loaded. I have no doubt Lynne Cheney and RFK were picked because their husband/brother had compelete confidence in their respective abilities. But appearance is everything. Mike
