I have many friends who have adopted greyhounds from those being retired from the racing circuit... In fact here in Florida there is an adoption society.. They make wonderful pets. They are eager for affection and respond graciously to it. They love to be with human companionship and are easily trained. If one can accept the size of these dogs those friends whom I know who have them would have no other dog.
