I don't know what to believe. I don't imagine you care. You have all the credibility of a chess piece on the attack. I don't imagine many basketball players know PHYSICS the way people who take physics know physics. Which is what my husband was saying. I doubt very much that many of them (any of them?) understand sneaker material construction the way materials scientists understand it. What Cosmic was saying was that people understand things in different ways. A basketball player is NOT going to be designing the machine tooling for a plant that makes sneakers. He is not going to be coming up with the formulas for the materials used in the shoe- if he were, then he would be in a different business than basketball. What he does know is how the materials perform for him on the court- and he knows that better than the guy who made it. Not that you really care. You just want to fight.
