geode, I think you are right. The born-again/Christian-right seems to have formed a cult: dictionary.reference.com Lush Limpbutt is part of that cult... not only are these people enemies of democracy, they are enemies to Christianity if you ask me. It's my understanding that our founding fathers knew that mixing governmental powers with religion could corrupt religion, more than government. The separation of church and state was meant to keep religion pure, not dishonor it... but you'll never hear this from the power seeking cult we have sweeping the country right now, with Lush as one of their mouthpieces!
