I'll probably be flamed for this but I've seen it too many times teaching hunters safety. Girls/women on the whole tend to be better shots naturally. I have no idea why this is or if it even makes any sense but as I say I've seen it too many times to not think it:)

I can outshoot all of my boys, including my husband. I prefer to shoot pistols because they are lighter and easier to handle, although I have better accuracy with a rifle. The difference in accuracy is a small percentage, and I think I'd bridge that gap easily if I practiced more. Some of the bigger rifles have a powerful kickback that bruise my shoulder......all except the 22.

I always thought it was because my grandfather used to take me to shoot skeet when I was young, but I'm not convinced. I think women are just inherently better marksman, but I don't know why.

edit: I see DMA thinks it is our lower center of gravity. I know my hands don't shake much. Nor does my heart beat as hard or fast. And my blood pressure is definitely lower......than the guys, that is.
