I agree with you on greyhounds.

Somebody who prefers Irish Setters told me that all Springer Spaniels in America descended from five sires, one of whom had what he called "Springer rage," and according to him it is not uncommon. However, I've never seen it.

I've known two people who had springer spaniels and they'd bite you in a heart beat. Cockers used to be nice but they got too popular in the 60s and had too much inbreeding which made them nasty.
