I can guarantee you that taking a week long business trip 1X per month is no where near $500k over a period of 4 years.

The $500k is for salaries for a two or three year period. He claims that his wife and daughter play an active role in the running of his office and campaign. It looks to me like wanting your cake and eating it too.
