OT - I hate close drafting. Once on a century ride the guy in front of me caught his front wheel on a bike while drafting. He went over the handle bars and and broke both wrists with compound fractures when he hit the pavement. It was the second time he had done this!

OT amy re: guy breathing down my neck

Almost sounds like he was drafting you, or maybe he had a crush on you

oh no...negative on both counts....he had some seriously bad energy which i could sense even before he invaded my personal space...

it was some kerryesque looking fellow in an overly tricked out bike looking moronic in his yellow tinted shades...

i'm sure when i passed him on my old, rusty, trusty 1957 western flyer (new streamers though!) instead of just looking like a moron, he had to demonstrate it beyond all doubt

;)

(btw, century ride.....very impressive!)
